Refer to each schools website for up-to-date applications information.Older children are expected to score a higher mark than younger children and scores are standardised to take age differences into account. If two children obtain identical cores (very possible given the number of applicants) then distance from school and other factors are taken into consideration before deciding which child should be admitted. Appeals, on any grounds, are hardly ever worth pursuing.
